Mr. Wolcott grew up in rural New Kent County, Virginia. He received his undergraduate degree from James Madison University in 2007. After graduating from JMU he attended the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating with honors. While in law school, Mr. Wolcott served on the South Carolina Law Review as a Student Works Editor.
Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Wolcott returned to the Shenandoah Valley where he began his legal career in the Harrisonburg City and Rockingham County Commonwealth Attorney's Office. During his time at the Commonwealth Attorney's Office Mr. Wolcott gained extensive trial experience, trying cases to both bench and jury verdicts.
Since joining Obenshain Law Group Mr. Wolcott has secured favorable results for individuals and families in serious injury and wrongful death cases and estate litigation matters including will contests. Mr. Wolcott has also obtained favorable results for individuals, businesses, and corporations, in cases involving shareholder and partner disputes, business and corporate dissolution actions and matters involving trade secrets, breach of contract, business torts, unfair competition, and fraud, among other matters.
