Mr. Wolcott grew up in rural New Kent County, Virginia. He received his
undergraduate degree from James Madison University in 2007. After graduating
from JMU he attended the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating
with honors. While in law school, Mr. Wolcott served on the South Carolina
Law Review as a Student Works Editor, authored an article that was published
the in the Law Review, and received awards for having the highest grade
in two of his classes.
Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Wolcott returned to the Shenandoah
Valley where he began his legal career in the Harrisonburg City and Rockingham
County Commonwealth Attorney's Office. During his time at the Commonwealth's
Attorney's Office Mr. Wolcott gained extensive trial experience, trying
cases to both bench and jury verdicts.
At Obenshain Law Group Mr. Wolcott continues his focus exclusively on trial
work and litigation.
In his spare time Mr. Wolcott serves as an Adjunct Professor at James Madison
University, where he teaches Business Law in the College of Business.
